~Photo Challenge: We Heart Tooshies!~

On Day One of our I Heart Faces Photography Workshop in Dallas was spent shooting different child “models” (ie. children of Amy’s friends) who had stopped by to visit with us that morning.

We had a bride scheduled to arrive in the afternoon with Amy Karp, but wouldn’t you know it?  A real bride showed up right when I was shooting photos of the adorable little girl in this photo.

Angie_Arthur

I absolutely love the way little girls become so enthralled with weddings…and especially with the beautiful bride.

This photo captured that fascination perfectly.  And it’s my entry into the I Heart Faces “We ♥ Tooshies” photo challenge!

**As a co-founder of I Heart Faces I am ineligible to win the photo contests.  I just like to play along because it’s so dang fun...and because it has been a tremendous way to challenge myself to continually improve on my photography journey and to become more creative in the way I view life through my lens.**

Cute photo Angie! I would enter if I had a tooshie photo. I could get one of my kids to shoot a picture mine but I don't have a wide angle lens......

Great theme but the only tooshie pic I have is one of Coll when we were potty training her and she got up off the pot to go play with something and ended up with a ring around her butt. Do you allow bare butts in I Heart Faces??? She'd be mortified, though, if she thought the whole world could see it so I had better not use that one....

That is gorgeous! Who knew that a tooshie pic could be classy? Leave it to you... lol! You KNOW I wanted this theme.. I might have been one of the first to suggest it... but do I have a great tooshie pic? Naw. But I'll sure enjoy looking at everyone else's... *wink*...

oh i love it! It is so precious and the focus is perfect.

We're headed to the playground tomorrow to take some pics with the iPhone...

still no DSLR for me but I'm really thinking I've convinced J to use it as a joint Christmas + birthday + "push" present :)

Love this capture, Angie. It reminds me of watching the brides at some of the weddings my dad officiated. I'm sure I stood mesmerized just like that!

well, so much for me using this shot! Just kidding! Yours turned out really great! I just wish those people would have left the bride alone for a minute. She was so enthralled by that bride, it was so precious! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

That is absolutely adorable! I remember when I was that age and was enamored with the bride at every wedding I went to! Great photo and I love how it brings back MY memories!

I have nothing to say about the quality of the photo. I am too uneducated for that. What I can only say is that the little girl's cute. I can vividly remember my 13-year old daughter when she's still that age.

This picture is so much more then the sweet little girl and her tooshie. It shows what every little girl dreams of... "Her Wedding Day".. it is so sweet, how she is up on that stone pillar so she can get a better view of the bride... I JUST ADORE THIS!

@ Shelly:

I didn't know (until now)that little girls want to be a bride. My wife didn't tell me that our wedding was the fulfillment of her dream. Hmmnn...Maybe she just forgot due to the excitement of the moment.

Oh my gosh- that is straight out of a movie! I love this photo!

Your work is beautiful.

Maybe little girls think that a bride is like a princess in a fairy tale, because that's what she looks like.
